Tips to Reduce Your Allergy Triggers:
` Don’t hang laundry outside- pollen can stick to towels and sheets.
` Remove clothes you’ve worn outside & shower to rinse pollen from your hair and skin.
` Avoid outdoor activity in the early morning when pollen counts are the highest.
` Check on TV or the Internet for pollen forecasts & current pollen levels- If high pollen counts are forecasted, start taking allergy medications BEFORE your symptoms start!!
` Stay indoors on dry, windy days- the best time to go outside is after it rains, as this helps clean pollen from the air.
` Use a portable high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter in your bedroom.
` Keep indoor air dry with a dehumidifier.
` For advice on some over-the-counter options for treating seasonal allergies, consult a Sereda’s Pharmacy Pharmacist or your family physician.
